"Our family absolutely loves Village Dance Studio! The teachers and staff care about each dance as a whole and not just the awards or accolades they can bring to their studio. My dancer was going to quit when she first began at another studio and I convinced her to try out this studio because I knew the director. She's been there ever since. I have been a part of other arts programs and have seen how staff and directors can quickly destroy the love of the arts for a child but this studio is quite the exception. Give it a try! "We have been so happy with our experience at VDS! They are inclusive and welcoming to dancers of all abilities. It’s a scary thing to have to call a studio and tell them my child has an Intellectual Disability and ask if he is welcome there. We’ve been rejected in the past by other studios. Traci did not hesitate to say that she would gladly have him as a dancer. His teacher, Miss Marissa, is encouraging and flexible with ways to get our son to participate. She’s not afraid to ask us for tips or input, too, which I appreciate! Our daughter loves her dance class, as well. We have seen both of our children’s dance techniques improve tremendously these past couple of years. If you want a studio that cares about its dancers and wants to encourage their love of dance, in addition to their technique, this is the right place for you!" - Amy K.
