Scholarship & Donations

The VDS Parent Council, in collaboration with the Village Dance Studio is committed to help other families in the community afford dance classes. We understand that financial difficulties can happen to our community. We firmly believe that all child should have the opportunity to experience dance, regardless of means. VDS has offered scholarships for many years, but the partnership with the VDS Parent Council will allow this outreach to grow.

Once approved through the application process, one student can participate in one age-appropriate class for one season at a reduced amount, depending on their individual financial situation. The application process is confidential (only Traci Broman will see the name) and is reviewed by the Parents Council exec team and Traci Broman. Families must resubmit a new application at the beginning of each season (school year & summer).
Applications are reviewed 3 times in the year:

June (for upcoming full school year season)
January (for any mid-season applications)
April (for any summer camp/class applications)
