Costume Payment OptionsAttendance is most important for your progress, as well as the progress of the class. If a student has missed too many lessons, a call or notice will be sent. Dance is a team sport, and every member contributes to the success of the final product. Please call 317.769.2223 or email [email protected] if your dancer must miss class. All students are required to attend all dress rehearsals.
HELP NEEDED! Parents are needed to help with chaperoning, assisting backstage, make-up, props & scenery, costumes, and more. We ask one parent of each family to volunteer at least once the week of the recital. Keep an eye out for the Sign-Up genius which will be sent out in the spring. We are excited to announce this year’s recital theme and provide information on the Spring show. Our theme “Celebrate the World” will celebrate people and cultures as well as the natural beauty of the earth.
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE CHANGING UP THE RECITAL FORMAT QUITE SIGNIFICANTLY FROM PAST YEARS to better enhance the performer and audience experience. This means shorter shows, great seats, and happier kids, without sacrificing the top notch performance quality on the stage! RECITAL TICKETS (change from years past) There is no recital fee to participate this year, however we will be selling tickets for the show at $10/adult & $5/youth. Family bundles and group rates will be available. Tickets will go on sale April 1st and are general admission seating. Those who volunteer at the recital will get in to the show for FREE! In lieu of a participation fee, this ticket fee will help pay for stage rental, auditorium personnel, programs, props, scenery and extra rehearsals. PARTICIPATION While it is not required to participate, we highly encourage your dancer to join us for the recital, so they can experience the joy of performing! Roughly 95% of our dancers participate in this show each year. If your child is not available on show day or uninterested in performing, you must let us know by Nov. 18th through the recital page on the website. DRESS REHEARSALS Each class in the ruby or sapphire show will have one dress rehearsals at Zionsville High School the week of the recital, while the diamond dancers will have at least two dress rehearsals. Most dancers will not need to be at the rehearsals the entire time. Specific times for all rehearsals will be announced by February and the dress rehearsal will be mandatory in order to perform in the show. Ruby & Sapphire Performances - Saturday, May 31st
