Village Dance Studio Parents Council
The Parents Council is a group of volunteer parents that help and support the Village Dance Studio and their dancers. As a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, the VDS Parents Council contributes to the community and health of our dancers. Meetings are held once a month on varied days and last no more than 1 hour. You do not have to attend every meeting in order to be on the Parents Council. The Parents Council supports VDS activities such as fundraisers, Nutcracker, Performance lobby décor, Recital video and flower sales, Ensemble trip, and more. The Parents Council plays a huge role in our Spring Recital and Showcase by organizing committees, props, costumes, other volunteers, and much more. They also help organize the fundraisers each year and are the entity behind our dancer scholarship program. Any parent of a VDS dancer is invited and encouraged to be a part of the Parent's Council
