Class assistants are utilized to help support faculty with beginning and lower level classes. Assistants must be 12 years of age or recommended by a teacher. 

Assistant training is mandatory: Saturday, August 15th 1-3pm 
A mid-year assistant training will be added this year. Information and details to come. ​Assistant schedules/selections are based on a first-come, first-serve system in order of age/experience. Ensemble members receive class selection priority. First- and second-year assistants receive $50, while those who have assisted for three years or more will receive $100 for the first class, plus $50 for each additional class. This stipend goes directly to their costume/account fund. 

Application must be filled out by August 5th.

    PLEASE NOTE:  Assisting schedules work a little differently during the season and dancers get to pick the classes they assist with, but we will go by seniority starting with those who have assisted for the most years. We will work with each dancer, their schedule, and the available classes to decide the best time for them to assist. We will do this during the mandatory assistant training on Saturday, August 15th from 1:00-3:00pm. Parents are asked to be in the building during this training to ensure the class your dancer signs up to assist works with your schedule & transportation.
