7:30pm- Show at Korsgaard Dance Studio
9:00pm - Depart Muncie
10:30pm - Return to VDS- parents pick up dancers

About the Show
Streets to the Stage: A History of Hip HopThis is a hip-hop dance concert that will explore the hip-hop culture through choreography and performance. The piece will look at hip-hop through a concert dance lens rather than solely a commercialized dance style, and how it translates from a street dance form to the concert stage. VDS Alumni Jacob Stumpf will be performing! This show will take place in their large gym/dance studio and we will be sitting on bleacher seats. While not a traditional venue, this will be a great way to introduce college dance performance to our students.
