Village Dance Ensemble
Ensemble Auditions for the 2011-2012 year are from 6-8pm on Monday, September 12.
The Village Dance Studio Ensemble is an auditioned group of dancers that participate in extra classes and rehearsals in order to prepare for additional performing experiences. They are auditioned in late summer and perform at various venues such as churches, nursing homes, IU-Kenya Gala, and the Zionsville Community Band.
Ensemble members are required to take two VDS ballet classes each week, along with participate in their annual fundraiser. Fundraisers in the past have included the Cinderella Ball, Family Sock Hop, and Board Game Bash. These fundraisers, supported also by the parents council, allow the Ensemble members to see shows, take trips, and attend dance related workshops.
